We as the UZ family received terrible news today as 10 students where involved in a fatal accident at around 4:30 am in the morning, subsequently 10 minutes later G-Star a singer and computer science student was confirmed dead on the spot. Unconfirmed reports suggest there is another death that happened at the hospital, Sinister an engineering student is said to be dead. And more are critically injured battling for life. The students were coming from 1+1 night club for a event dubbed "The Last Dance" in celebration of the last day on campus.
Masara a survivor said that the driver was spending at one pointing time the robot turned red whilst he was about to cross the driver hit an emergency break leading to the sweaving of the car but he managered get it under control. The second time it happened he lost control and the car flipped and rolled. "I didn't feel the pain of a car rolling all l just saw was blood in the car and the guy next to me had been cut by the mirror," said Masara. They were 10 students in the CRV some where forced in the booty including the deceased as they was no transport around 3-5am. My soul bleeds and fumes to those that organize transport for students to go at their personal gain but fail to secure transport for them to come back. Once you get there its each man for himself.
Life is useless, vanity vanity says the preacher... Here l am terrorized by the thought maybe had l bought that stake you asked for around 3:30pm events would have been different or maybe brought you with me when you asked where l was going and home l said then you said you will follow kuma4. Its now a mirage... we learn with great sadness your untimely departure and personally l am still to comprehend you are no more.
We were not very closed but we conversed well and your music shall keep us connected. Just four days ago we argued about whether Donald Trump was presidential material or not and you stood your ground cadre. Go well comrade, the sincerity on your face as you asked for that stake is an image never to devorce my mind... We mourn with your family and wish a speedy recovery to those who were badly injured. Praying for healing and comfort at this time of bewilderment. As the Vanguard Movement and the body of students we pass our heartfelt condolences to your families and friends.
If you stayed in NC3 or once visited these are the guys who played instruments and sang in front of the hostel. Everytime l saw them my wish was that one day we would hold a talent show to promote and celebrate talent on campus rather than bringing celebrated and established artists. With G-Star having sang a campaign track for the incumbent president, hope they will be enough engagement with SEC to honour these cadres.
Last semester morning after elections we lost another student through a road accident. We thought this semester we had escaped this scourge but on the last day of the semester we are robbed yet another life. We are strongly aware that the Campus Christian Community is out on outreach, Zaoga and CCC having left yesterday and AFM leaving today, in one unity breathen l beseech you to pray for a speedy recovery to those who are critically injured and against road accidents as hundreds are travelling today. May they be guided home safely. My God heal heal our hearts as we mourn. Another part final student this semester was send home for psychiatric attention after signs of mental retardness due to drug abuse lets all gaurd life diligently as intellectuals bearing in mind that you are your brothers keep Lets all keep our fingers crossed and hope for better to those in hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
Don't mind my use of the first narrative its a personal loss l couldn't help to separate my self from this tragedy.
Rest in peace bro
